Lovely hosts, such kind people. Amazing central spot walking distance from Fira. Breakfast is simple but delicious.

Smarula Villa is run by a family- and many were in the courtyard to greet us on arrival including 8yr old Magda who added major cuteness to our arrival :). Location is on the walking path from Imerovigli to Fira a block or so away from the cliff- so not cliffside but you can walk up 3 min and see the caldera. Walk up the path maybe 8-10 min to a small church and you can see the sunset. We had 3 rooms, two rooms with double bed and couch and the 2BR apartment with terrace. All were great. The double bed rooms were upstairs, had a balcony facing Fira (easy to see sunrise). Breakfast is delivered to your room each morning and large bottle of water. OUTSTANDING breakfasts- varied a little each day- but always fruit or fruit with yogurt, and egg (scrambled, poached or hard boiled), and a panini sandwich with super fresh tomatos, lettuce, ham and cheese, and coffee. Two people in our group of 8 have a dairy allergy and they accommodated that easily. Wojtjeck was a great communicator and even arranged a taxi for our group of 8 back and forth to the airport (60Euro).

Отличный номер, чисто, уютно, приветливые хозяева. Месторасположение очень удобное. Уже по прибытии обнаружили, что находимся в 15-20 минутах (пешком) от главной автобусной станции в Тире. Это было супер открытием для нас! Благодаря этому мы побывали в разных концах острова! Прекрасный вариант для тех, у кого нет личного или арендованного средства передвижения.Также огромным плюсом было наличие кучи разных ресторанчиков в шаговой доступности. Буквально 2-3 минуты. Там же есть и сувенирные магазины и лавки. Ещё куча разных сувениров находится ближе на пути к автобусной станции.Я бы с удовольствием вернулась туда еще раз))

La stanza è ampia e accogliente. Oltre al bagno privato e a un comodo letto fa la differenza la presenza di un doppio balconcino, che da la possibilità di passare del tempo all'esterno in qualsiasi fase della giornata e di osservare sia, da una parte, il lato interno dell'isola con il mare sullo sfondo, sia, dall'altra, uno scorcio della caldera sull'isola di Thirasia e il tramonto. La doppia esposizione consente poi di mantenere la camera ventilata e fresca sia di giorno che di notte (nonostante ciò, in caso di necessità, è presente anche un condizionatore).Ma la differenza la fa senz'altro il gran lavoro degli host: dalla colazione a prima mattina, all'impeccabile pulizia della stanza, a tutti i consigli e le dritte utili per vivere al meglio l'isola. Siamo molto grati per come ci hanno trattato nel corso della permanenza, non ci hanno fatto mancare niente e ci hanno sempre supportato con una gentilezza che purtroppo non è frequente al giorno d'oggi. Tutto benissimo, ola kalà!Io e Susanna abbiamo alloggiato alcuni giorni a Villa Smarula e siamo stati benissimo: camere carine, diversi servizi (bollitore, thè, caffè, zucchero, crema di latte...ombrellone, asciugacapelli, tv, frigorifero, aria condizionata...), letti comodi, bagni funzionali, terrazzino vista mare (no caldera ma comunque molto carino) e colazione portata ogni mattina dal proprietario Niki o da sua moglie (gentilissimi!) , che ogni mattina cambia (panini, yogurt, toast, brioches etc..) rendendo vario l'inizio di giornata! Valore aggiunto abbiamo portato i vestiti da sposi e col fotografo Ilias (Niki se volete vi darà il contatto) siamo andati a fare un servizio fotografico meraviglioso a iMerovigli che non dimenticheremo mai! Huoneesta oli näkymä kauniille calderalle. Ja lisäksi toinen ikkuna saaren vastakkaiselle puolelle myös merinäköalalla.Hotelli on rauhallisella paikalla, vaikka siitä on lyhyt matka ravintoloihin ja ruokakauppaan.Isäntä on todella ystävällinen ja tekee aamiaisen yksilöllisten toiveiden mukaisesti. Huone oli todella siisti. Tulen varmasti uudestaan.

The location was perfect, in between Fira and Imerovigli. It is a safe and quite place to stay. The apartment was clean, AC worked seamlessly. The view on sunrise and the sea from tarrace. The owner is very kind and likes helping people.

We had a great stay at Smarula Villa. Perfectly located, close to the caldera and all beautiful views. Wojtek, the owner, was great! He helped us with everything one could possibly need, including with renting a car and planning a transfer to the ferry port, but also with different suggestions of restaurants and beaches to go to.

Näköalat merelle, kalderan puolelle, olivat kahdenhengenhuoneessa ihanat. Erityisesti pidin, kun huoneessa oli myös vastakkaisella seinällä ikkuna, josta myös oli merinäköala saaren toiselle puolelle. Näin pystyin pitämään ikkunaluukut auki aina sille puolelle, mistä ei sillä hetkellä aurinko paista suoraan sisään, kuumentaaksen huoneen. Valoisa ja viihtyisä huone. Myös siitä pidin, että pystyin helposti tuulettamaan raikasta meri-ilmaa huoneeseeni. Arvostan sitä paljon enemmin kuin ilmalämpöpumppua, joka sekin toimi huoneessa tehokkaasti viilentäen, tarvittaessa.

The location was inbetween Oia and Fira, the owner was really helpful he explained on first arrival everything regarding rooms, services , the breakfast was given in bag daily due to covid it was ok will not say enough, i had my ferry very early in morning to Milos m he even packed me breakfast for on the way really sweet of himregarding apartment it was quite place neat clean , bedsheets were neat, room was really nice with sea view, both sides by walk Oia-Fira, lots of restaurants by walking distance.
